City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service – Two Toronto Men Facing Drug Charges (Names Released)
On Tuesday, December 10th, 2024, Kawartha Lakes Police Service Drug Enforcement Unit with the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police Community Street Crime Unit and the OPP Tactical and Rescue Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Lindsay.
As a result of the investigation two individuals were arrested and the following was seized:
· Cocaine 33.5 grams
· Crack Cocaine 20.5 grams
· 75 Percocet Pills
· Large quantity of currency
· Firearm and ammunition
Approximate street value of $9550 in drugs seized.
22-year-old Stephen Falconer from Toronto has been charged with:
· Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking X3
· Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000
· Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
· Carry Firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunitions in a careless manner
· Carrying concealed weapon
· Knowledge of unauthorized Possession of Firearm
· Possession of Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
At the time of his arrest, it was learned that Falconer is wanted by Durham Regional Police Service for firearm related offences.
18-year-old Brandon Henry from Toronto has been charged with:
· Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking X3
· Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000
Both accused have been held for a bail hearing and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice.
