Peterborough County OPP – County Road 28 Reopened in Dourro-Dummer Township
(DOURRO-DUMMER TOWNSHIP, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle collision that occurred on Highway 28 between County Road 6 and Douro 4th Line at approximately 10:00am on Friday, June 21, 2024.
Highway 28 was closed between County Road 6 and Douro 4th Line and traffic was diverted around the area while OPP officers and emergency crews de alt with the collision scene.
A group of classic cars were travelling northbound when another motorist exited a private driveway colliding with the northbound vehicle. Both occupants of the classic car as well as the driver of the second vehicle were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Highway 28 has now re-opened.
