Cows Returned

The Peterborough Police Service was called early Wednesday morning after a herd of cows was spotted travelling northbound on County Road 28 around 1:15am.  About 25 cows had escaped from their field in the area of County Road 28 and Moore Drive.  The owner was located, and the cows safely returned.

Moose Moved

Peterborough Police Service can report that the moose spotted over the past two days in Peterborough’s west-end has been safely moved out of the city by officers with the Ministry of Natural Resources. Thank you to the public for their patience and reporting sightings of the animal.
