Northumberland OPP – Two Cramahe Township Males Charged with Assault

The Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested two individuals for assault on a third person.

On April 27, 2024, at approximately 3:30 p.m., OPP responded to report of an altercation at a residence near Castleton in the Township of Cramahe. Officers arrived on scene and conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle which the two accused were reported to be leaving the location in.

A 26-year-old male and a 24-year-old male, both from the Township of Cramahe, have each been charged with

·      Assault.

At the time of the incident, injuries to the victim were described as minor.

Both the accused are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg at a future date.
