Update – Cobourg Police – Damage to Tim Hortons Window and Bus Shelter May Be Connected

Cobourg Police have stated they believe a pellet was used to break the glass at Tim Hortons on December 26 at approximately 11:15 pm.

In an update police are investigating after pellets were also possibly fired at the bus shelter on King Street at College Street on December 28. The glass to the shelter was broken, but there were no injuries at either incident.

Police will be reviewing video from the east end business.

Both incidents remain under investigation at this time. Anyone with information, video surveillance or dashcam footage of the area is asked to call police at 905-372-6821 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS or visiting stopcrimehere.ca. Tips received through Crime Stoppers may be eligible for a cash reward.
