The Municipality of Port Hope and Northumberland County are presenting “Inspiring Change” at the Capitol Theatre on Saturday, September 30, 2023.
The free, live-guided virtual tour of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights with a focus on the Truth and Reconciliation exhibit.
The doors open at 3 p.m. with a virtual tour taking place at 4 p.m. Following the virtual tour, Port Hope Mayor Olena Hankivsky will host a question and answer with special guest Jeannette Corbiere Lavell.
“I’m really encouraging all the members of the Port Hope community and those really across the County to join us for this very special event at the Capitol Theatre,” said Mayor Hankivsky.
“I do think it will be a unique opportunity to listen and learn and for all of us to continue to take action on truth and reconciliation on not only September 30, but all the days of the year.”
