Northumberland-Peterborough South Candidates Forum on Sustainability
Where do our candidates stand on the climate crisis, sustainable communities, urban sprawl, clean energy, biodiversity, and supporting Ontario’s workforce in the transition to a green economy?
Residents in Northumberland-Peterborough South are invited to join an All-Candidates Forum on sustainability on May 20th at 7:00 pm at Venture 13, 739 D’Arcy St. Cobourg, Zoom and Facebook Live (doors open at 6:30 pm, parking available at rear, entry at D’Arcy entrance ).
The event is hosted by Sustainable Cobourg and a partnership of local community organizations working together to champion environmental and sustainability issues.
Our next Provincial government will determine Ontario’s actions in response to environmental, economic, and social challenges that will determine how sustainable our communities will be for the future.
How will the candidates’ different approaches impact Northumberland-Peterborough South?
At the forum, all candidates will be invited to respond to prepared questions from the organizations and questions submitted by attendees during the event.
