Cornerstone Family Violence Prevention Centre extends congratulations to the Cobourg Home Depot store for the incredible results of the 2021 Holiday Orange Door Project campaign.
As part of an annual fundraising campaign held across 182 Home Depot stores, the Cobourg store’s partnership with Cornerstone will see the organization receive $13,670.28 in support of its local initiatives to provide vital services to women and children impacted by domestic violence.
The announcement gives credit for the incredible results to the Home Depot staff and the generosity of the Northumberland community.
“This year has been a record-breaking year for the Cobourg store, as it raised over $32,000 for Cornerstone through its biannual campaign,” it said.
Cornerstone Executive Director Nancy Johnston said they are thrilled with the amazing results.
“These funds will have a direct impact on local women, youth and children seeking Cornerstone’s services due to the impact of family violence,” Johnston said.
“Our community is very generous, and it just becomes more and more apparent through initiatives such as these.”
