City of Kawartha Lakes OPP – Person Charged With Assault With A Weapon At Dog Park
The City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating an altercation that occurred at a local dog park.
On February 22, 2021 an OPP officer responded to a call to assist paramedics at the dog park. The ensuing investigation indicated that an altercation between dog owners had occurred, resulting in one party receiving minor injuries when struck by the other. There were no reported injuries in relation to the dogs.
Patrick Cullen, 39 years of age, of the City of Kawartha Lakes was arrested and charged with the Criminal Code offence of assault with a weapon.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on March 11, 2021.
