Covid-19 Update from Cramahe Township
The Township of Cramahe’s number one priority during this pandemic has been to keep our staff and our public safe. It has recently come to our attention that there is a probable Covid-19 case within one of our user groups who use one of our facilities.
We appreciate that this news may be concerning for our residents and staff, but we want to assure everyone that the risk to the public is low and we continue to work closely with our user groups to respond to this issue. We will continue to follow our policies and procedures to help keep everyone safe.
We can reassure you that the facilities are being cleaned thoroughly after each user group as well as multiple times during the day. More enhanced cleaning measures have been put into place since this has been brought to our attention.
To protect yourselves, your children and the community, the health unit recommends that you stay home if you are sick; complete daily self-screening; continue to physically distance from others as much as possible; wear a mask when indoors, or when you cannot maintain a two meter distance outside; clean hands often with soap and water or hand sanitizer; cough and sneeze into your sleeve; avoid touching your face; avoiding sharing personal items with others; and avoid close contact with anyone who is ill.
