Cramahe Township Chief Building Official Retires
Chief Building Official, Gerald Sproule is retiring after 5 years with the Township of Cramahe, effective September 8th, 2020.
During his tenure with Cramahe Township, Gerald oversaw the issuance of building permits for many new residences and businesses throughout the Township. Gerald was also instrumental in transforming the upper floor and common areas at Town Hall into modern and efficient office spaces. He continues to be an active member of the local Chapter of the Ontario Building Officials Association.
The Township thanks him for his service and wishes him the best in his retirement.
The Township’s Planning and Development Department welcomes Dave Wellman as Deputy CBO for the Township of Cramahe, in the wake of Gerald’s retirement. During his lengthy career in municipal government, Dave served as CBO in a number of municipalities throughout Peterborough County, ending his career on June 8, 2020 from the Township of Ramara, where he served for 10 years.
