(MUNICIPALITY OF PORT HOPE, ON) – On Monday June 29, 2020, at approximately 10:20 am, a member from the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a bicyclist riding eastbound on Highway 401 just east of Wesleyville Road.
A 21-year-old rider from Oakville, Ontario was escorted off the highway and charged under the Highway Traffic Act for riding a bicycle on a controlled-access highway.
