Details from Police Concerning Those Charged Under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act

Today’s Northumberland has received details From Cobourg Police concerning violations under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act.

Cobourg Police spokesperson Lisa Munday said four people have been charged with a variety of offences since the declaration of emergency.

Munday said two adults were charged for being on a closed play structure of a park

One homeowner was charged for a gathering of more than five people (not from the same household) and on Saturday one downtown business was charged when the patio was open for business.
