Durham Police – Pizza Delivery Driver Stabbed in Whitby

Investigators are asking the public to help identify two armed suspects who stabbed a pizza delivery driver and stole his vehicle this morning in Whitby.

On Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at approximately 1:30 a.m., members of Central West Division were called to the area of Centre Street South in Whitby after a pizza delivery driver was robbed of his grey Honda Fit at knifepoint. The male victim was making a food delivery and was approached by two teens who stabbed him several times. He suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The victim was transported to a Toronto-area trauma hospital.

Investigators have limited suspect descriptors at this time, the suspects are described as two black males, possibly in their teens. They were wearing black clothing and black toques.

The stolen vehicle is described as a grey 4-door 2009 Honda Fit with Ontario licence plate #CJHB-697.
