Update – Northumberland OPP – Yard Maintenance Equipment Stolen – Again

Second Trailer Stolen
(HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – Members from the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating the theft of yard maintenance equipment from a local business located on Burnham Street North just north of the town of Cobourg.

On August 1, 2019 between 12:50 am – 1:45 am suspects entered the property and stole an enclosed trailer containing two commercial grade zero turn radius lawn tractors, seven weed eaters, three split shaft weed eaters, four backpack blowers, two hand-held blowers and a toolbox filled with various hand tools. The stolen trailer is described as:

Length – 25 ft.
Axle – 2
Plate – S5644H
VIN – 7G1BE2429LE005034

During the overnight hours of August 18, 2019 a second enclosed trailer containing several thousands of dollars worth of landscaping equipment was reported stolen from the same business and location. The stolen trailer is described as:

Year – 2011
Length – 20 ft.
Axle – 2
Plate – H3823Z
VIN – 5NHUHAV2XBW059631

The Northumberland OPP is asking for the public’s assistance with this ongoing investigation and would ask that anyone with information to call their nearest OPP detachment.
