Durham Police UPDATE – Arson Investigation in Oshawa

Investigators are releasing surveillance photos and a short clip of a suspect wanted for identification for an ongoing arson investigation in Oshawa.

Video surveillance captured a male suspect prior to the fire being set at a new build apartment site on Sunday, June 9, 2019. The fire was determined to be an arson and investigators are reaching out to the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect.

The suspect is described as male, white, with a full beard. He was carrying two pizza boxes and a white plastic bag.

Anyone with information about the person(s) responsible for this fire is asked to contact D/Cst. Powell of the Central East Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2739.
