Northumberland County Seeks Input On New Strategic Plan

Northumberland County council and staff have begun the important work of creating a 2019-2023 Strategic Plan, and are calling out to members of the public to help shape it.
A press release from the county invites citizens to complete a survey about their long-term vision for the community and for county-provided services that will be available until March 28.
“The Strategic Plan will identify trends influencing the direction of the organization and the community, outline council’s future-forward vision and priorities, and set goals that will focus the county’s energy and resources to meet the changing needs of the community,” the press release listed.
Feedback provided through the survey process will be shared with Northumberland County council and senior management staff as part of an April strategy session to develop this plan.
The survey is available on-line at http://NorthumberlandCounty.ca/StrategicPlan – or in hard-copy form at the county headquarters, located at 555 Courthouse Rd. in Cobourg.
