Quinte West OPP – Arrest and Charges In Donation Box Thefts

On November 2, 2018 officers from the Quinte West (QW) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) commenced an investigation into a theft from a downtown business in the city of Quinte West

On October 29, 2018 at approximately 11:00 p.m. the male suspect was caught on camera committing the theft of a donation box which was collecting funds for the Children’s Miracle Network; the suspect also stole cash from a Poppy Donation box at the same location.

Imagines from the surveillance video were circulated to Quinte West OPP which resulted in an off duty civilian member recognizing the suspect which lead to his capture.

On November 6, 2018 at approximately 6:06 p.m. Daniel Wolf SULLIVAN, 32 years old of the City of Quinte West, was arrested and charged with:

Daniel SULLIVAN was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice located at 15 Bridge Street West in the city of Belleville on December 20, 2018.
