Northumberland County OPP – Traffic Stop Results In Drug Trafficking Charges

(NORTHUMBERLAND, ON) – The Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested three men with drug and weapon offences on Highway 401 in Alnwick-Haldimand Township.

On September 30, 2018 at approximately 3:00pm police received reports of a possible impaired driver travelling eastbound on Highway 401 east of Cobourg. A traffic stop was conducted on a silver 4 door sedan with three male occupants. Throughout the investigation officers located two air pistols, a quantity of cash and drugs.

As a result of the investigation police charged the following people:

Matthew Roderick NATION, age 25 of Ajax, Ontario.

 

Ransley Jon VILLARIAS, age 24 of Toronto, Ontario.

 

Jean-Michael BOUDREAU, age 24 of North York, Ontario.

 

All three accused were released and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg, Ontario on November 14, 2018.
