Cobourg Police – Male Arrested for Mischief under $5000.00, Breach of Recognizance and Assault Peace Officer
On the 9th of July 2018 at approximately 8:15 PM, police attended the area near D’Arcy Street and Elgin Street East for a report of a Mischief that was occurring to a parked vehicle. On arrival Police located a male matching the description given to Police and arrested him for same.
The male assaulted police with attempt to resist arrest and was additionally charged with Assault Peace Officer and Breach of Recognizance. The male was transported to the Cobourg Police Service and is being held for a bail hearing on Tuesday July 10th.
Charged with Mischief under $5000.00, Breach of Recognizance and Assault Peace Officer is 25 year old Cobourg resident Brandon Bates.
