SIU – Woman in Cobourg Fatally Shot Self; No Criminal Charges Warranted Against Police Case Number: 17-OCD-126

Mississauga, ON (19 June, 2018) — The Director of the Special Investigations Unit, Tony Loparco, has determined there are no reasonable grounds to lay criminal charges against a Cobourg Police Service officer in relation to the death of a 24-year-old woman in May of 2017.
