Cops for Cancer – Head Shave Charity Event, 5 April, 2018
The Cobourg Police Service will be hosting the 9th annual “Cops for Cancer” – Head Shave charity event in support of the Canadian Cancer Society. This year’s event is scheduled for Thursday, the 5th of April 2018 at 1:00 pm, at St. Joseph’s Elementary Catholic School (Gymnasium), located at 919 D’Arcy Street, Cobourg, Ontario.
The event this year is co-organized by Cobourg Police Sergeant Mike Richardson (Cobourg Police Service), his Spouse Angie Richardson, a St. Joseph’s Elementary Catholic School Teacher Mrs. Lori Kendrick and four OELC (Ontario Education Leadership Camp) students from the school.
Police Officers from the Durham Regional Police Service, Kingston Police Force, Ontario Provincial Police (Northumberland – Cobourg Detachment) plus Officers and Special Constables from the Cobourg Police Service will be taking part in this year’s head shave event. As well as, members of the public are volunteering and participating in the event.
Public are encouraged to attend the school gymnasium for the event and additional parking is permitted at the Lions Centre located at 157 Elgin Street East.
